Transport Planner (PM Shift) – Crawley
Our growing logistics company in Crawley is hiring a Transport Planner - PM Shift to enhance fleet operations, optimise routes, and maintain high service standards while ensuring compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and optimise daily vehicle routes to enhance efficiency and service levels
- Allocate tasks to drivers, ensuring compliance with schedules, drivers' hours, and working time directives (WTD)
- Monitor fleet movements and address delays or operational issues promptly
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to streamline deliveries and collections
- Maintain accurate transport records and update logistics management systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the transport function
- Deliver consistent high levels of customer service

Required Profile
The ideal candidate brings:
- Previous experience in a Transport Planner or similar logistics role
- Strong familiarity with UK transport regulations and compliance requirements
- Bonus: Experience in Transport Pallet Network
- Exceptional organisation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication with both internal and external stakeholders
- (Desirable) Experience using transport management systems (TMS)

Shift Details: Monday to Friday, 12:00/14:00 till 22:00/24:00
