Transport Planner

Location: Ravensthorpe

Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 (flexibility available)

Salary: Competitive


Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation within the logistics and distribution sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a Transport Planner to join a busy, fast-paced operation where you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods.

The Role

As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating daily transport operations, ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in the most cost-effective way. You’ll work closely with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to maintain high service levels and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and scheduling daily transport routes efficiently
  • Managing a fleet of vehicles and coordinating driver workloads
  • Monitoring deliveries and responding to delays or issues in real time
  • Liaising with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensuring compliance with transport legislation and company policies
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimise routes and reduce costs
  • Maintaining accurate transport and delivery records

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in transport planning / logistics / distribution (preferred)
  • Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Can work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Is confident using transport planning systems and Microsoft Office
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player
