Enotria is looking for its next Transport Planner

If you’re looking to master the road through data and discipline, Enotria is looking for its next Transport Planner to bridge the gap between the warehouse and the wheel.

The Role:

The Transport Planner is responsible for planning and coordinating transport movements in an efficient, cost-effective, and timely manner. This role combines hands-on route planning with administrative support and data analysis to ensure smooth daily operations across a multi-drop delivery network.

Working within a busy transport team, the role involves:

  • Creating and managing delivery schedules
  • Maintaining planning systems
  • Supporting continuous improvement in routing efficiency and service performance

A key part of the role is ensuring all transport activities remain fully compliant with UK legislation, including drivers’ hours regulations, Working Time Directive (WTD), and vehicle weight restrictions, ensuring all routes are planned safely, legally, and efficiently.

Strong communication is essential to the role, requiring regular interaction with drivers, warehouse teams, agencies, and internal departments to ensure accurate execution of plans, timely issue resolution, and a high level of service delivery.

The role also requires a proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to think outside the box to overcome operational challenges, optimise routes, and identify efficiencies within a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

The transport planner will work closely with the Transport Controllers, Compliance Officer & Training Supervisor.

Job Specifics:

  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Hours per Week: 37.5 hours (11:00 - 19:00 Monday - Friday: weekend cover when required)
  • Location: Park Royal, London
  • Reporting To: General Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Operations

  • Plan and optimise delivery routes using Paragon route planning software
  • Manage daily transport plans to ensure timely warehouse cut-offs
  • Monitor and adjust routes to maximise efficiency and vehicle utilisation
  • Ensure all delivery time windows are met in line with agreed SLAs
  • Support dynamic routing across multiple depot locations
  • Ensure compliance with Working Time Directive (WTD), drivers’ hours, and vehicle weight restrictions
  • Liaise with drivers to ensure accuracy of planned vs actual routes
  • Maximise payload utilisation and identify opportunities for additional runs

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
