About The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Transport Recruitment Administrator to join our expanding Manufacturing Recruitment team, based at our Head Office in Barton-upon-Humber. The successful candidate will provide administrative support throughout the transport recruitment and onboarding process, working closely with candidates, hiring managers, and the wider recruitment team.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:30.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct telephone interviews with candidates and assess their suitability for transport roles.
- Coordinate candidate interviews, driving assessments, and induction appointments.
- Support hiring managers throughout the interview, assessment, and induction process.
- Process job offers, contracts, and new starter documentation using the onboarding system.
- Ensure all pre-employment and onboarding documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant.
- Manage the Transport Recruitment shared mailbox, responding to queries and escalating issues where required.
- Follow up with candidates who have not completed their online paperwork and assist them with any issues.
- Provide general administrative support to Recruitment Coordinators and the wider recruitment team.

About You
Desired skills & knowledge:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with candidates, new starters, and key stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to completing tasks.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Previous recruitment experience or knowledge of recruitment and onboarding processes would be advantageous.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
