Transport Solutions Design Manager
As a Transport Solutions Design Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping and implementing efficient transport strategies for customers within the transport and distribution industry. Your work will directly contribute to optimising logistics operations and ensuring the seamless delivery of services.

A large, well-respected 3rd Party logistics provider operating across multiple sectors.
Description
- Design and implement innovative transport solutions to optimise logistics operations.
- Analyse current transport processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the business development team to secure new business.
- Create compelling tender responses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align transport strategies with business goals.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics to track efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the project team to implement new contracts and transport initiatives, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant transport and distribution regulations.
- Manage relationships with internal transport networks, third-party hauliers, and carriers, and negotiate contracts.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on transport tenders and contract renegotiations.

Profile
A successful Transport Solutions Design Manager should have:
- Proven experience in logistics or transport and distribution sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on transport operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
- Capability to design and implement cost-effective transport strategies.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools used in logistics and transport planning (Paragon or similar).
- A results-driven mindset with attention to detail and organisational skills.

Job Offer
- Salary range: £65,000 to £75,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Company car (electric/hybrid) or car allowance as part of the package.
- 10% performance-related bonus.
- Permanent position based across the national network of DC's.
- Hybrid working (remote/customer locations/depots or distribution centres / 2 days in the office).
