Transport Supervisor
Transport Supervisor / Coordinator (Permanent, Full-Time – Harlow Depot)
Join our team as Transport Supervisor and play a pivotal role in keeping our fast-paced transport and warehouse operations running smoothly. If you thrive on teamwork, communication, and performance-driven results while ensuring compliance and operational excellence, this is your opportunity to take charge.
The Role
Overseeing all day-to-day transport operations, you’ll be the trusted senior figure within our busy Transport Department, managing processes for one of our key customers – New Look. Ensuring smooth logistics, team coordination, and service excellence, you’ll keep operations running efficiently, safely, and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
📋 Daily Operations Management
- Coordinate and supervise all activities within the transport office
- Ensure alignment with company standards and operational protocols
🔗 Cross-Team Facilitation
- Bridge communication between transport, warehouse, and management teams
- Promote collaboration for seamless workflows and shared objectives
🛡️ Compliance & Safety Leadership
- Enforce adherence to transport and warehouse regulations
- Maintain clean, consistent, and audit-ready processes

Requirements
To succeed in this dynamic role, you’ll need to demonstrate the following:
✔ Legal and Compliance Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of transport regulations, legal requirements, and industry best practices
✔ Operational Resilience:
- Proactive mindset with ability to anticipate challenges and manage under pressure
✔ Communication Skills:
- Clear, confident interviewer with cross-level communication ability
- Strong facilitator for efficient information flow across teams
✔ Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly data-driven decision-making
✔ Problem-Solving & Ownership:
- Critical thinker who takes initiative and acts decisively
About the Role & Organisation
Job Type & Location:
- Permanent, Full-Time Position (37.5+ hours) at our Harlow Depot
- Working Hours: 08:00–16:00, Sunday to Thursday (with 5-day-a-week flexibility as needed)
