Job Title

Transportation Coordinator

Position Overview

Position Objective: Coordinate all daily operations and billing.

Essential Duties

  • Dispatch loads to warehouses
  • Learn and be proficient with multiple Transportation Systems to successfully plan, schedule, and deliver all Transportation requests TMW, ESTAT, P44, AXIOM, WEB Access, CCM, TMX, ORBCOMM, P44
  • Bill loads and keep records of manifests
  • Monitor spotter driver activity throughout the shift on P44/Trimble
  • Know how to successfully plan/assign orders to drivers in TMW.
  • Interact with plant guards on trailer location
  • Bill waste loads in MRM system
  • Understanding of Wherenet, MRM, Google software suite, and Manhattan TMS system
  • Maintain billing reports
  • Understand billing process for warehouse, LTL, and liveload procedures
  • Communicate professionally with Shaw drivers as well as internal and external customers.
  • Ability to think critically and utilize all resources to cover ever changing business conditions.

Non-Essential Duties

  • File paperwork according to policy.
  • Perform tasks as determined by the Transportation Supervisor and Manager

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to operate a computer terminal for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements of Coordinator
  • Be able to perform overtime if required.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Previous experience in Transportation/Dispatch/Distribution related field preferred.
  • Billing Clerk experience preferred
  • Experience planning labor and scheduling
  • Will be trained on other job related duties where required to assist
  • Must possess strong computer skills including, but not limited to Excel, Word and other software programs.

Safety And Security Requirements

  • Must be familiar with accident reporting.
  • Must be familiar with fuel spill procedures.
  • Must participate in safety meetings.

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM
