Transport Process Day Operator — Arxada (Basel, Switzerland)
About the Role Arxada—a global leader in chemistry & biotechnology solutions—seeks a Transport Process Day Operator to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient material movement across operations. In this hands-on role, you’ll bridge production, logistics, and warehouse teams while upholding safety, quality, and operational excellence. Suited to detail-oriented, proactive individuals, the position demands accountability, resilience, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Essential Responsibilities
- Execute daily transport and logistics processes to support site operations and production
- Ensure safe handling, movement, and storage of materials in alignment with internal standards and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate closely with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to maintain seamless workflows and on-time material delivery
- Monitor and update documentation, records, and system data for transport activities
- Identify and escalate operational issues, driving timely resolutions to minimise disruptions
- Contribute to process efficiency, safety, and reliability improvements
- Uphold health, safety, environmental, and quality policies, fostering a strong safety culture

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in transport, logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance requirements in industrial settings
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively
- Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented with a structured approach to tasks
- Basic familiarity with systems/ERP for data recording and operational tracking
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, operational environment
