The Global Opportunity helps professionals build flexible income streams through the travel industry, alongside their existing careers or personal commitments. Role Description

The Travel Business Owner role is a part-time, remote opportunity to build and manage an independent travel-focused business with support from The Global Opportunity. Day-to-day activities include promoting travel services, consulting with clients on their travel needs, and coordinating bookings using partner platforms and tools. The role involves learning and implementing business and marketing strategies, participating in training sessions and mentoring calls, and engaging with the global community for support and best practices. Travel Business Owners also develop referral networks, nurture client relationships, and may build and mentor a small team to grow their business over time. Work hours are flexible and self-directed, allowing the role to be combined with other professional or personal commitments.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, explain travel options clearly, and maintain professional client relationships.
  • Interest in entrepreneurship and business development, including a willingness to learn about referrals, leadership, and team-building strategies.
  • Basic digital literacy and comfort working remotely, including using online booking tools, communication platforms, and social media for business purposes.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a flexible, part-time, performance-based environment.
  • Growth mindset and openness to ongoing training, mentoring, and collaboration within a global community.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or hospitality is beneficial but not required.
  • No specific educational background is mandatory; however, an interest in travel, people-focused work, and continuous learning is highly valuable.
