Join AXA as a Travel Commercial Systems Manager – Shape the Future of Travel Insurance!
As the Travel Commercial Systems Manager, you will be at the heart of AXA's digital travel insurance operations. Your mission will be to coordinate and execute activities that support and enhance our UK&I travel systems, including the Guidewire claims management platform and digital customer channels. You'll ensure our commercial configurations are accurate, up-to-date, and optimised for performance.
Your work will directly influence how we onboard new partners, manage existing schemes, and analyse data to improve our offerings. You'll also collaborate with global teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Onboard and Launch: Lead the onboarding of new partners and the launch of new schemes, ensuring seamless integration.
- Maintain & Optimize: Keep existing schemes and policies current, analysing feedback to improve coverage and operational efficiency.
- Configure Systems: Manage the setup and updates of commercial systems, including Guidewire Data Loaders, Scheme Models, and Diagnostic Trees.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with global asset teams, operational, and commercial stakeholders to ensure system upgrades and configurations are aligned and tested.
- Data & Reporting: Partner with the MI/Reporting team to ensure products are correctly reflected in KPIs and reports.
- Support & Cross-Cover: Provide support to related business lines like Motor & Home, sharing expertise and resources across teams.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends, suggest enhancements, and implement best practices for system performance and user experience.

What You’ll Bring
Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in B2B commercial or account management, ideally within insurance or service-based sectors.
- An understanding of AI and its uses in service-based propositions.
- Deep understanding of insurance contracts, schemes, and regulatory requirements.
- Skilled in configuring, validating, and controlling insurance products and digitized business logic.
- Familiar with managing technical projects, testing cycles, and working with digital channels.
- Comfortable working with new technologies, automation, and virtual teams.
- Knowledge of financial services industry practices is a plus.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Action-oriented, responsible, and proactive.
- Methodical problem-solver with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communicator, able to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Adaptable and resilient, thriving in ambiguous or changing environments.

What We Offer

- Starting salary circa £45,000 depending on experience
- 25 days annual leave, rising to a maximum of 27 days (based on a 5 day week)
