Travel & Expenses Analyst
We’re looking for a Travel & Expenses Analyst to join us in our Bradford office. This is hybrid working – 2 days in the office, 3 days remote.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of Payment Operations processes; including travel support, reconciliation and other ad-hoc duties.
The Payment Operations team are responsible for several key areas including end-to-end processing of all end-to-end financial transactions such as billing, customer payments, accounts payable and receivable, in compliance with supplier accounts, applicable legislation and internal policies.
What will you be doing?
- Working with senior stakeholders within the Liberty Global Group to ensure fast, effective query resolution.
- Play a key part of the Travel Support for all OpCo's, with key involvement in approving business travel requests outside of policy guidelines, helping with travel related queries and completing credit card monthly reconciliations.
- Project involvement for Travel, Expenses and Spend Desk process changes/improvements and looking at transformation opportunities for streamlining the department.
- Engage and support local business users through the relevant processes and provide training where necessary.
- Support all aspects of the Operational Small Order Desk process from requisition to approval stage.
- Seen as an expert in all areas of the Travel, Expenses & Spend Desk processes and system requirements.
- Actively promoting suggestions to improve process, procedures and systems.
Essential
We tend to look for people with:
- Experience working within a fast paced accounts payable or accounts receivable department
- Pro-actively identifying process improvement opportunities and ensure effective resource utilisation.
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Flexible and able to pick up new skills quickly
- Attention to detail
- Strong Communication Skills to explain issues concisely and clearly
- Be able to present information in a clear and concise format
- Ability to analyse and resolve issues
- Self-motivated and works on your own initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure & meet targets without compromising on quality
