Travel Manager
Location: Covent Garden, London/ Milton Keynes (Hybrid)
About the Role
We are hiring for a Travel Manager to join us on a permanent basis, based in our Covent Garden office. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective delivery and continuous improvement of BSI's global travel operations, ensuring travel services are efficient, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with business needs.
Working closely with the Director, FBS, Head of Procurement and key stakeholders across the business, you will oversee the day-to-day management of BSI's global travel programme. You will be responsible for supplier performance, travel policy ownership, systems management, continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting the rollout of global travel processes, while ensuring an excellent experience for employees and compliance with organisational standards.
You will also play a key role in analysing travel data and booking behaviours to identify opportunities for cost savings, increased policy compliance, and improved user experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day management of BSI's global travel provider, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Manage supplier performance, resolving service issues, escalations and driving continuous improvement.
- Monitor supplier delivery against business requirements and contractual expectations.
- Support Procurement by executing sourcing outcomes and providing data for supplier negotiations and renewals.
- Analyse travel spend, booking behaviours and policy compliance to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Drive adoption of preferred suppliers, routes and booking behaviours.
- Own the travel configuration within Concur and the Group Travel Policy.
- Support global rollout, training, KPIs and compliance.
To Be Successful In The Role, You Will Have
- Strong knowledge of the travel industry and associated travel management processes.
- Minimum five years' relevant experience.
- Experience managing senior stakeholders and supplier relationships.
- Ability to influence change across all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proactive approach.
- Good standard of education including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Business-level English.

The guide salary for this role ranges from £51,600 to £64,500 per year. Your actual pay will be based on factors including your experience and expertise.
