Travel Product Manager Escorted Tours
Travel Product Manager (Escorted Tours) – £30,000 to £39,000 (Pro Rata)
Base Salary: £30,000 - £39,000 pro rata + great benefits Location: Fully remote within the UK Hours: 32 hours per week (ideally 10am – 3pm Mon-Fri) Requirements:
- 1 scheduled workday per month in-office (Surrey-based office)
About the Role
Our client is a fast-growing entrepreneurial travel and media company, specialising in escorted touring and group travel. They have collaborated with some of the world’s best media brands to create exclusive, bespoke travel programs tailored to their readers and members.
Due to their rapid expansion, they are now recruiting a Travel Product Manager (Part-Time) to oversee the strategic development and management of their escorted tour offerings. This role will involve end-to-end product ownership—from concept through to execution, sales, and evaluation—ensuring growth and continuous enhancement of their travel portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
The Travel Product Manager will:
- Work closely with the Head of Product to:
- Plan and manage the product pipeline, balancing internally developed tours with third-party partnerships.
- Develop and refine product pipelines from conception to launch, including pricing and commercial viability assessments.

Ensuring an engaging, competitive, and diverse product portfolio aligned with:
- The needs of their partner brands and premium audiences.
- Business sales targets.

Supplier and Partner Management:
- Build and strengthen supplier relationships, negotiating the best rates, contracts, and arrangements for customers.
- Secure and manage product allocations, monitoring availability and sourcing suitable alternatives when required.

Internal and External Collaboration:
- Work with sales, marketing, and operational teams to:
- Deliver products on time.
- Respond to queries and feedback effectively.
- Advise internal stakeholders on strategic opportunities.

Eligibility & Requirements
Essential Experience & Skills
- Travel or Tourism Industry Background:
- Previous experience in product development (ideally within a tour operator, cruise operator, or similar business).
- Strong knowledge of escorted touring or extensive front-line sales experience, including:
- Direct work with DMCs (Destinations Management Companies) and suppliers on creating custom itineraries.
- Experience in contracting, supplier management, and rate negotiation.
