Travel Systems Lead (Mid-Office)
Location: Remote (with occasional travel for meetings)
Are you an experienced travel systems professional with a passion for improving technology, processes and operational performance? We're looking for a Travel Systems Lead to take ownership of our mid-office platform, ensuring our travel systems are reliable, efficient and continually evolving to support the business.
You'll act as the subject matter expert for our mid-office system, working closely with internal teams, technology partners and suppliers to optimise workflows, improve automation, and deliver technology enhancements that make a real difference to our operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the administration, configuration and ongoing optimisation of the mid-office travel system.
- Manage system upgrades, testing, releases and new functionality to ensure maximum performance and reliability.
- Drive process improvements through automation, workflow optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain data integrity across travel systems, including GDS, mid-office, back-office and reporting platforms.
- Manage integrations with booking tools, CRM, finance and reporting systems, working with technology partners to resolve issues.
- Lead or support system implementations, migrations and technology projects, ensuring successful delivery with minimal business disruption.
- Produce and maintain system documentation, configuration standards and best practice guides.
- Provide expert support and training to operational teams, helping users maximise system capability.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across operations, finance, sales and technology to deliver business-focused solutions.
- Mentor colleagues, share knowledge and help develop capability across the wider team.

What We're Looking For
- Experience working within a corporate travel or TMC environment.
- Strong knowledge of mid-office systems (ProTAS experience is highly desirable).
- Good understanding of GDS platforms, online booking tools and travel technology integrations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering technology improvements in a fast-paced environment.
