What Are We Looking For?

  • Strategic Financial Vision: Ability to think strategically about the organisation’s long-term financial direction, ensuring that our financial goals align with our mission to advance social justice and women’s rights.
  • Governance and Oversight Expertise: A solid understanding of governance principles, with experience in financial leadership roles within nonprofit or charitable organisations, ensuring best practices in fiscal governance.
  • Advanced Financial Acumen: Strong skills in financial management, including budgeting, financial reporting, and oversight, to maintain the fiscal health and sustainability of the organisation.
  • Legal and Compliance Proficiency: Familiarity with the legal and regulatory requirements for nonprofit organisations, ensuring our financial practices comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Advocacy and Strategic Networking: Ability to advocate for our mission and build strategic partnerships with stakeholders, policymakers, and other organisations, enhancing our advocacy efforts and expanding our financial support network.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey our financial strategy, engage with diverse audiences, and represent the organisation professionally in various financial and strategic settings.

In this key role, you will oversee and manage the financial affairs of the society, ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective resource allocation.
