Treasury Accountant
Treasury Accountant – Hybrid (Central London)
Location: Central London (Hybrid working available) Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + bonus & comprehensive benefits package
Our client—a multinational energy/infrastructure group delivering a major international project—is entering a phase of growth and execution.
The Opportunity An exciting role has opened for a Treasury Accountant to join the London finance team, supporting treasury, cash management, and funding activities across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reporting and forecasting
- Monitor cash balances and liquidity requirements across the business
- Manage payment processes and treasury operations
- Support banking activities, including account administration and cash movements
- Assist with debt facility administration and lender reporting requirements
- Prepare treasury reporting and supporting analysis for senior management
- Support short and long-term liquidity planning activities
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to assess funding needs
- Assist with month-end treasury accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support treasury controls, governance, and process improvements
- Assist in responding to external audit requests related to treasury activities

Candidate Requirements

- Previous experience in treasury, cash management, or a finance-related role
- Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
- Experience managing payments and banking relationships
- Ideally, exposure to debt facilities, project finance, or lender reporting
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret financial data
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Effective communicator with the ability to build cross-functional relationships
- Studying towards, qualified in, or interested in pursuing an accounting or treasury qualification (beneficial but not essential)
