Company Description

At we.are.sdi, we design and make imaginative brand experiences for retail and hospitality clients. Our teams work end-to-end across creative, engineering, manufacturing and installation. We are looking for a hands-on Treasury Accountant to take ownership of day-to-day treasury activity and strengthen cash visibility, controls and reporting across the business.

Role Description

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage the day-to-day operation of Treasury, covering cash and liquidity, banking administration, treasury controls, FX processes, funding and treasury reporting.

This role would suit an experienced Treasury Accountant, Cash Accountant with strong exposure to manufacturing operations who is able to manage own workflow, whilst working within part of a small team.

What you will do

  • Review and manage daily cash positions, bank balances and short-term liquidity across the company.
  • Maintain rolling short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts, including accurate forecasts, working closely with Finance team.
  • Support FX exposure analysis, hedge tracking, deal administration and reporting.
  • Manage bank account administration, including mandates, online banking access, user administration and periodic control reviews.
  • Prepare regular treasury reporting, including weekly treasury updates and management information.
  • Manage loan facilities, funding flows, interest accruals and settlement schedules.
  • Support period-end and year-end treasury activities, audit queries and support documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of company positions and treasury transactions.
  • Improve treasury processes, documentation and controls, identifying opportunities to automate and streamline manual work.
  • Support ad-hoc treasury projects, system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.

What you will bring

  • Strong numerical and analytical capability, with high attention to detail.
  • Confident Excel skills and an interest in data, systems and process improvement.
  • Clear communication style and confidence working with Directors, Finance colleagues, banks and auditors.
  • Strong organisation, reliability and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Integrity, sound judgement and a clear appreciation of governance, controls and risk.
  • Hands-on experience in treasury, banking, cash management or finance operations.
  • Understanding of FX, liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, funding, interest and debt reporting.
  • Exposure to online banking platforms, ERP systems (Sage X3 desirable) or treasury management systems.
