About the Role
The Treasury ALM Analyst supports asset and liability management, covering critical functions such as balance sheet analysis, interest rate risk monitoring, liquidity assessment, forecasting, and governance reporting. This role bridges operational excellence and future enhancement, driving efficiency, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
Key activities include:
- Serving as an internal resource for financial sign-offs and steering committees.
- Conducing robust balance sheet analyses and supporting liquidity forecasting.
- Collaborating with Regulatory, Compliance, and Finance teams to ensure model accuracy and policy alignment.
- Driving financial creativity and scalability through processes, systems (e.g., FIS Quantum), and data visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities
Core Accountabilities
- Balance Sheet & ALM Analysis:
- Prepare and maintain management analysis for the asset/liarity mix, funding profile, liquidity position, interest rate sensitivity, error correction adjustments, and earnings at risk.
- Develop behavioural assumptions and forecasts for base rate movements, margins, and deposit/exposure pricing.
- Support asset/liability hedging with corporate cages, RSA, and trading desk teams.

Liquidity & Funding Monitoring:
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly liquidity and funding monitoring using direct systems and spreadsheets.
- Analyze key indicators—balancing trends, concentration exposure, and funding tenor changes—escalating exceptions as needed.
- Review operational changes, legal formulations, new/amended forms to assess financial impact.

Interest Rate & Earnings Analysis:
- Develop interest rate pricing and investment yield tools, including margin profiles.
- Analyze hedges, pricing benchmarks, pitfall adjustments, and earnings forecasts as needed by Risk, Treasury, and Finance.

Management & Reporting:
- Generate supplementation to reports, financial forecasts, and modelling for senior staining committees and ALMC discussions.
- Present concise, high-quality management information in alignment with governance needs, using active storytelling and forward-looking analyses.

Systems & Automation:
- Maintain and enhance spreadsheets, analytical models, and system-based reporting in line with future Treasury system transformations.
- Assist in automating reporting processes (e.g., via FIS Quantum or treasury systems)

Project & Change Leadership:
- Support Treasury change initiatives, including system upgrades, new product evaluations, ALM tool enhancements, documentation, and process validation.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with Treasury, Finance, Risk, Credit risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to validate outputs, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, ALM, or regulatory frameworks.
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Strong persuasive grasp of financial analysis, forecasting, and financial modelling techniques.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivotatic)Mastery, advanced functions, VBA, pivot tables, and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience in ** commémoriie system** and financial analysis for balance sheets.
- Ability to interpret financial data, resolve exceptions, investigate root causes, and ensure findings are documented in a closed, auditable manner.
