Treasury Analyst
Treasury Analyst – Front Office
Location
Frimley, Surrey Remote work is available once per week for eligible employees
About the Role
Join SC Johnson, a fifth-generation family company, and take on a critical role in the Treasury Team (Front Office). This position will involve providing high-quality, customer-focused treasury services to a global client base in the Shared Service Centre.
Key aspects of the role:
- Supporting a small but empowered treasury team
- Strong focus on trading experience or familiarity with Exchange Control regulations is a plus
- Vital trust and independence required due to segregated duties
Key Responsibilities
Cash Management
- Prepare daily cash positions for the African market
- Conduct variance analysis and commentary
- Manage funding requirements to ensure:
- Appropriate cash levels are maintained
- Balanced cash flow targets vs. idle cash policies
- Prevention of overdraft incidents
- Coordination with relationship banks for loans
Trade Execution
- Execute trades with authorised counterparties
- Ensure compliance with:
- Treasury policies
- Internal controls
- Country-specific government regulations

FX (Foreign Exchange) Management
- Prepare Cash Flow Forecasts (CFF) for:
- Cash and liquidity planning
- Improved forecast accuracy (actuals vs. forecast)
- Monthly FX Flow Reporting with variance analysis
- Monitor FX gains/losses to support regional teams
Bank Account Management
- Review and reconcile daily bank statements
- Analyse and consolidate monthly bank charges
- Streamline or rationalise accounting processes
Business Partnering & Support
- Collaborate with SSC (shared services) and local teams
- Resolve product/service-related queries
- Ensure compliance with audit and SOAR (System of Authorisation Review) processes
Skills & Experience
Essential Skills & Experience
- Preference for treasury experience (not strictly required)
- Exposure to Middle East & Africa (MEA) markets or FX trading
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of SAP as an added advantage
- Strong accounting, banking, and compliance awareness
