Equifind and Investment Bank Partnership

Equifind has partnered with a leading investment bank that is currently experiencing significant growth and requires a treasury analyst to join their finance team.

Role Overview

The investment bank is expanding its team for the next six months to manage the business's cash effectively due to exceptional performance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily cash balances across multiple currencies and international legal entities
  • Execute cash transfers and funding transactions
  • Produce daily cash position reports for management and monitor liquidity requirements
  • Support optimisation of cash balances to maximise interest income
  • Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts, analyse forecast variances, and investigate significant movements
  • Produce weekly and monthly treasury reports for management
  • Develop dashboards and management information covering cash balances, liquidity trends, interest income, and bank charges
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through analytical workings
  • Prepare treasury journals and bank reconciliations
  • Support bank account opening and closing processes
  • Liaise with banking partners to resolve any operational queries
  • Maintain accurate treasury records and documentation following internal control processes
  • Ad hoc projects as requested by senior management

Experience & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in treasury or a related payments position
  • Experience of working within financial services is essential
  • Experience of multi-currency environments
  • Strong excel skills
  • Show strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of treasury systems would be beneficial – Kyriba would be preferable

About the Business

An international investment bank, a major player in the field. You will join a high-performance business and team.

With offices across the globe, you will work closely with multiple departments and be critical to the treasury function of the business.

The finance and treasury teams have a great cultural feel, so you’ll enjoy working with a variety of characters. In addition to the daily treasury duties, you will have lots more exposure if you are wanting it.

Salary

This exciting opportunity for a treasury analyst will pay in the range of £35000-£45000, depending on your background and experience.

Role Details

  • Hybrid role in London requiring 3 days in the office
  • Start date: Ideally within the next month, candidates on no more than four weeks notice will be considered
