Treasury Analyst

Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 per annum (Degree of Flex) + benefits

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Treasury Analyst to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their treasury career while gaining exposure to cash management, banking operations, Treasury Management Systems (TMS), financial reporting, and treasury administration within a dynamic organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily cash positions and prepare short and long-term cash flow forecasts.
  • Support liquidity management and optimise cash balances across multiple bank accounts.
  • Process treasury transactions, including payments, intercompany funding, and bank transfers.
  • Maintain and support the Treasury Management System (TMS), ensuring data accuracy and efficient system operation.
  • Assist with TMS enhancements, testing, user support, and process improvements.
  • Manage bank account administration, including opening and closing bank accounts, maintaining bank account records, and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in line with internal governance.
  • Administer and maintain bank mandates, signatory lists, and authorised user access, ensuring documentation is kept up to date and compliant.
  • Liaise with banking partners to support account maintenance, KYC requests, and other banking documentation requirements.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support the management of banking relationships.
  • Assist with foreign exchange (FX) transactions and treasury-related projects.
  • Prepare treasury and financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end reporting requirements, and provide analysis to aid business decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, and banking regulations.

About You

  • Previous experience in a Treasury Analyst, Finance Analyst, Cash Management, or Treasury Operations role.
  • Hands-on experience using a Treasury Management System (TMS) such as Kyriba, FIS Integrity, GTreasury, SAP Treasury, or similar.
  • Experience managing bank mandates, bank account administration, KYC documentation, and banking relationships.
  • Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity forecasting, and treasury operations.
  • Experience preparing treasury and financial reports.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with FX, payments, and bank connectivity is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A finance-related degree or studying towards ACT, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
