Role Overview

The Treasury Analyst forms a core part of the Group Treasury function, emerging from our ongoing expansion and internal growth. In this role, you will:

  • Manage and report on the Group’s available cash with accuracy and timely updates.
  • Forge strong relationships with senior management and stakeholders – both internal and external – across the business.
  • Support the finance team during transformation projects to uphold Group Treasury policies and continuously enhance Treasury efficiency.
  • Help establish processes to drive operational excellence and identify new areas for strategic growth.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily Cash Flow Management

    • Review the Group cash position and compile daily cash reports.
    • Monitor and manage UK company bank balances.
  • Funding & Settlements

    • Process and settle treasury transactions to ensure timely payments.
  • Liquidity & FX Management

    • Maintain and optimise liquidity positions with counterparties.
    • Manage Group FX exposure through cash flow analysis and underpinning of the FX system (FXall).
    • Oversee intercompany funding and loan arrangements.
  • Weekly Reporting

    • Provide weekly reports on Group liquidity positions and counterparty risk exposure.

Key Objectives & KPIs

  • Relationship Building: Collaborate with senior management to improve cash flow forecasting and make data-driven liquidity recommendations.
  • Treasury Operations:
    • Assure documentation and adherence to Treasury policies and international working practices.
    • Support the development of internal controls and polices through continuous process improvement.
  • Technology & Efficiency: Contribute to upgrades in Treasury technology solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Treasury (preferred).
  • A proactive and detail-oriented mind-set.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, Treasury management software, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work colleatively across global teams and remote stakeholders.
