Treasury Analyst

Permanent

Newcastle city centre - office based

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our fast-paced Treasury team as a Junior Treasury Analyst.

This is an excellent position if you are looking to kick-start your career within Finance, whether you already have some prior accounting/finance experience or recently graduated with a degree in this area.

Your Role:

Reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager, we require a team player, who has an excellent goal-focused attitude and an eye for detail to join this expanding team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Allocating and investigating cash receipts
  • Validating outgoing payments
  • Performing regular bank reconciliations
  • Producing timely and accurate cash forecasts
  • Producing ad-hoc treasury analysis

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mind-set
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Passion for process improvement
  • Able to work at pace in a high growth and fast-paced business where change itself is business as usual
  • A finance-related degree or relevant experience
