Arriva Treasury Analyst

Arriva is one of Europe's leading passenger transport providers, delivering nearly 2 billion passenger journeys across 11 European countries every year. Our Treasury function plays a vital role in supporting the business by providing funding, liquidity management, cash management, foreign exchange and interest rate risk management, fuel hedging, guarantees, and other treasury services through our In-House Bank model.

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop their treasury expertise within a large international organisation. This role would be particularly well suited to a recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline who is looking to begin a career in Corporate Treasury. With exposure to a broad range of treasury activities and opportunities to learn from experienced treasury professionals, this position offers an excellent foundation for building a successful finance career.

Reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager, you will support the day-to-day operational activities of the Treasury function while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and treasury projects across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

As Treasury Analyst, you will:

  • Support all aspects of day-to-day treasury operations including liquidity, funding, foreign exchange, payments, forecasting, reporting and administration.
  • Manage the daily liquidity position, reporting balances and highlighting any overdrawn positions, short-term funding requirements and payment requests.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and transaction analysis through the Treasury Management System (TMS).
  • Process treasury and business payments through Reval and banking platforms.
  • Manage and maintain the Treasury Management System, including user administration, dashboards, reporting and data integrity.
  • Support administration of treasury-related systems, including banking platforms, LSEG and Oxford Economics.
  • Produce treasury reports that are accurate, auditable and provide valuable business insights.
  • Respond to internal and external treasury queries, including KYC requirements.
  • Process UK payments, including BACS, payroll and treasury transactions.
  • Support compliance programmes and maintain treasury controls in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and external banking partners.
  • Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes, controls and reporting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
