Treasury Assistant
Location: UK - Hatfield | Job-ID: 219030 | Contract type: Standard | Business Unit: Finance & Accounting
Life on the team
Computacenter's Group Treasury team plays a key role in supporting our global business, ensuring funds are available where and when they're needed whilst managing financial risk across multiple countries and currencies. The team manages foreign exchange activity of up to £1bn annually, helping the business navigate currency exposure across international operations.
You'll join a supportive and collaborative team where you'll gain exposure to a broad range of treasury activities. As your knowledge develops, you'll receive structured training and the opportunity to build experience across multiple areas of Treasury.
What you'll do
- Processing UK and international payments.
- Supporting cash management and cashflow activities.
- Assisting with forecasting and reporting.
- Updating foreign exchange rates and supporting FX activities.
- Completing treasury reconciliations.
- Supporting company card administration.
- Working with Finance teams and stakeholders across the business.
- Forecasting and making payments on our Treasury Management System (TMS).
- Responding to Treasury queries and providing day-to-day support.

What you'll need
We're looking for someone with at least 2 years' experience in a finance or accounts environment who is keen to build a long-term career within Treasury.
You'll also have:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Treasury experience.
- Foreign exchange (FX) exposure.
- Treasury Management System (TMS) experience.
- Finance-related qualification or degree.
