This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in Treasury Operations, Treasury Business Management, Trading Support, Market Risk, or Financial Markets who are looking to broaden their exposure within an international banking environment.
I'm currently partnering with an established international bank in London that is looking to appoint a Treasury Business Management Analyst (Agency) to join its Treasury division.

About the Role
Working closely with Treasury, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams, you will support Treasury business management, reporting, governance, project delivery, and process improvement initiatives, while gaining broad exposure to Treasury products and strategic business activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily business management activities across the Treasury department, ensuring smooth operation of Treasury processes and controls.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc management reports, business performance analysis, and MI packs for senior management, Head Office, and relevant committees.
- Monitor Treasury business activities, trading limits, counterparty limits, and operational risk indicators, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Assist with maintaining Treasury policies, procedures, and process documentation, ensuring they remain accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate and support Treasury projects, including system upgrades, regulatory initiatives, and business change programs.
- Produce Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and workflow documentation for system enhancements.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validating new system functionality, and ensuring successful implementation.
- Analyze Treasury business data to identify trends, improve reporting quality, and support management decision-making.
- Conduct market research covering Foreign Exchange, Money Markets, Fixed Income products, interest rate developments, and broader macroeconomic events.
- Support Treasury management with budgeting, business planning, and strategic initiatives where required.
- Work closely with Front Office dealers, Risk Management, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to deliver cross-functional projects.
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements and ensure Treasury activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory expectations.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying automation opportunities and enhancing reporting efficiency using Excel and other analytical tools.

Requirements
- Previous experience within Treasury Operations, Treasury Business Management, Treasury Control, Trading Support, Market Risk, Middle Office, or Financial Markets.
- Good understanding of Treasury products including:
- Foreign Exchange (FX)
- Money Market products
- Fixed Income products
- Deposits
- Bonds
- Repo or related Treasury instruments
- Experience supporting Treasury reporting, business management, governance, or operational control activities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business data and produce meaningful management information.
- Experience preparing MI reports, dashboards, or business analysis for senior stakeholders.
- Previous involvement in business change projects, system implementations, BRD preparation, or UAT testing would be highly advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and data analysis. Experience with VBA, Power BI, or SQL would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Degree educated or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Mandarin language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
