About the Role

We’re transforming how we deliver change, scaling ambitions and accelerating delivery. To support our large multiyear change portfolio in the Balance Sheet Management & Regulatory Reporting lab, we’re seeking skilled Treasury Change Managers.

We prioritise applications from candidates with experience in:

  • Treasury
  • Regulatory Reporting (BoE, Liquidity, Capital, Securitisation & Asset Encumbrance)
  • Hedge accounting
  • Treasury and Finance transformation projects

Job Title: Treasury Change Manager

  • Salary: £72,702–£80,780
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Location(s): Leeds
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid (minimum 2 days/week at office)

Key Responsibilities

As a trusted Treasury partner, you’ll:

  • Shaping impactful change: Convert business needs into feasible solutions, influencing senior leaders to drive outcome-centred transformation.
  • Act as an advisor: Support Treasury through regulatory shifts, process changes, and infrastructure evolutions.
  • Simplify complexity: Clarify ambiguities in forums, product discussions, and backlogs—turning vague requirements into actionable plans.
  • Champion Agile values: Model Agile behaviours across the Balance Sheet Management & Regulatory Reporting lab and broader teams.
  • Bridge collaboration: Engage stakeholders across departments and seniority levels, aligning change priorities with bank-wide strategy.
  • Leverage evolving expertise: Maintain competitive knowledge in Treasury, Finance, Change Management, Systems and industry trends through continuous learning.
  • Drive tactical data analysis: Conduct independent ad-hoc analyses to support change initiatives (mentorship available as needed).
  • Validate solutions: Test prototypes to ensure they deliver tangible business value early.

Requirements & Qualities

Compelling candidates will bring:

  • Deep proficiency in Treasury business drivers (Capital, Funding, Risk Management perspective).
  • Familiarity with regulatory regimes governing banks and their risk frameworks.
  • Outstanding collaborative skills to reconcile competing stakeholder goals.
  • A stronger focus on results, exhibiting a crushing determination to drive meaningful change—principles aligned both individually and team-wide.

Technical/Analytical Core Skills

  • Expertise in end-to-end Treasury operations, including cross-functional interactions.
  • Proficiency in business analysis and data translation—able to streamline complex problems into practical, outcomes-driven solutions.
  • Rigorous, structured, prioritisation skills to juggle competing workloads while maintaining a collaborative mindset.
  • Adaptability in using tools like SQL, Power BI, Jira, Confluence, Copilot, and Excel for reporting/change management.
