To collate and manage documentation in preparation for charging our residential properties to a range of funders/security trustees. With the Support of the Corporate Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the security charging process and ensure efficiency of security across the loan debt portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with internal teams and external partners to bring properties into charge, resolving any documentation issues. Address and rectify any property or scheme issues that may impede efficient charging or optimisation of property value. Collaborate with the Development team to review new scheme documentation concerning security charging and valuation implications. Compile and efficiently file necessary documentation to expedite the charging of completed development schemes. Manage the Group's loan security position, ensuring all loan facilities are adequately secured. Identify and maintain a pipeline of property security tranches to meet forecasted needs

The Treasury team is small cohort of knowledgeable people and is part of a larger Finance directorate of circa 60 employees, many of whom have developed their careers with us in different roles. About You: You should have a strong understanding of security charging principles and possess excellent time management and organisational skills. You will be an effective communicator, able to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Ideally with a background in at least two of the following sectors: housing associations, solicitors, residential development, you will deploy your knowledge and skills acting as a subject matter expert for loan security matters, keeping up to date with legislative and regulatory changes that may affect property charging or valuation potential. Treasury knowledge and a legal qualification/experience are key requirements of this role; some financial and system skills that would advantageous, although not essential as we can train you. A background in Development or Treasury environments and a formal legal qualification would be advantageous.

The work is varied and rewarding, engaging with internal departments, lenders, solicitors and valuers to bring properties into charge, coordinating processes and resolving documentation requirements.
