Job Opportunity: Treasury Consultant

We're partnering with a leading global treasury consultancy to recruit for an exciting opportunity supporting corporate clients in optimising treasury operations, improving efficiency, and strengthening financial risk management. This is a fantastic chance to work alongside experienced treasury specialists, delivering strategic solutions that help businesses scale and build resilient financial operations.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established, globally recognised consultancy specialising in treasury, working capital, and financial risk solutions. They partner with leading corporate organisations and private equity-backed businesses to deliver strategic treasury transformation and optimisation projects.

Description

  • Lead the delivery and execution of treasury advisory engagements for private equity-backed and corporate clients.
  • Build and develop relationships with financial sponsors, portfolio companies, and corporate organisations to support long-term growth.
  • Manage advisory projects from data gathering and analysis through to strategic recommendations, ensuring high-quality client delivery.
  • Collaborate with and mentor internal consultants and external partners, promoting best practice, efficiency, and successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and enhance treasury consulting methodologies, analytical frameworks, and scalable solutions to improve service delivery.
  • Support the automation of treasury solutions by working with technology partners to implement workflow, governance, and decision-support tools.

Profile

A successful Treasury Consultant should have:

  • 5+ years' experience across treasury, working capital, or a related corporate finance environment, with a strong understanding of treasury operations.
  • Ability to identify client needs and deliver tailored treasury solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree educated in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline, with advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • A willingness to travel, a proactive mindset, and a genuine desire to develop within treasury consulting. Additional European or Asian language skills are advantageous.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary ranging from £80,000 to £110,000 per annum.
