Finance Officer – Cash to Control

About the Role

As a Finance Officer in the Cash to Control function, you’ll safeguard our financial integrity by ensuring precise balance sheet and bank reconciliations, conducting variance analysis, and producing clear reporting. Your work will actively strengthen financial controls and drive efficiencies in our processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reconciliation & Analysis

    • Own and complete balance sheet and bank reconciliations, addressing reconciling items and identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
    • Review and clear unallocated receipts/payments as well as credit/debit balances within SLAs, liaising with third parties as required.
  • Collaboration & KPIs

    • Engage in problem-solving to solve performance challenges and proactively work with colleagues to meet departmental KPIs and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Build strong relationships across departments to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Transaction Management

    • Process high-volume transactions with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
    • Maintain company ledgers and manage daily cash transactions.

About You

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • Concern for confidentiality and trustworthiness when handling financial data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Strong communication skills and proven stakeholder engagement.
  • Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Exceptional reconciliation and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented approach with unwavering accountability.
  • Proactive mindset, driven by continuous improvement.
  • Ability to operate collaboratively while prioritising efficiently.
