Treasury Director
Department: Finance
Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: UK - London
Description
CFC is looking for a Head of Treasury to build and lead our treasury function at a pivotal stage of growth. Reporting to the Deputy Group Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of cash, liquidity, funding, banking relationships, and treasury strategy across a fast-growing, international business.
This is a rare opportunity to shape a function rather than inherit one. You'll lead a small team, influence senior stakeholders, and build the processes, controls, and reporting that support CFC's continued global expansion.
About the role
Unlike a traditional insurance carrier treasury role, this position sits much closer to the commercial heartbeat of the business. You'll be managing premium flows, FX exposure, banking relationships, debt obligations, and working capital across multiple jurisdictions, helping ensure CFC is equipped for its next phase of growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
