Group Treasury Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Group Treasury Manager to lead treasury activities for a UK-listed group with international operations. The role would suit a strong "CA/ACA/ACCA qualified accountant" who enjoys:

  • Accounting
  • Cash flow reporting
  • Liquidity
  • Funding
  • Financial risk management

The position covers both back office and front office treasury functions, alongside various accounting tasks including cash flow reporting. The position reports into and is supported by the Group Financial Controller and has one direct report.


About You

  • Strong qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Excels at both detailed tasks and holistic strategy
  • Technical expertise in IFRS, including cash flow reporting and treasury disclosures
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior leadership and external stakeholders
  • Highly organised, detail-driven, and comfortable operating in a regulated, deadline-driven environment
  • Interested in:
    • Cash management
    • Debt structures
    • FX and interest rate risk
  • Desirable:
    • Group treasury experience in a PLC environment
    • Experience in refinancing or working with a range of banking counterparties

Key Responsibilities

Core Treasury & Cash Management

  • Manages daily cash flow, forecasting, and short- to medium-term liquidity
  • Oversees daily intercompany funding and external bank account governance
  • Approves daily payments in line with segregation of duties
  • Prepares cash flow forecasting for budget and three-year plan
  • Conducts going concern testing and stress testing of facilities and covenants for compliance

Banking & Facility Management

  • Manages banking relationships, facility drawdowns, and covenant certificates
  • Optimises working capital
  • Provides M&A support, including raising capital and integration

Risk & Policy Oversight

  • Monitors and mitigates financial risks, including:
    • Interest rate fluctuations
    • Currency risks
  • Maintains and enhances treasury policies, controls, and delegated authorities
