Treasury Manager
Treasury Manager
Private Equity-Backed Global Business • Leicester, East Midlands
About the Company
A private equity-backed international group, headquartered in Leicester, is seeking a Treasury Manager to drive cash, liquidity, and treasury operations across the business. This senior treasury role reports to senior finance leadership and features a hybrid working model—split between the Leicester headquarters and remote work.
About the Role
This isn’t just a back-office cash administration role—it’s treasury with real influence. As the Treasury Manager, you’ll take ownership of group-wide cash forecasting, liquidity, and debt management, acting as a trusted business partner to leadership. Since cash performance is central to the company’s private equity-backed investment strategy, you’ll challenge weak assumptions, improve forecasting rigor, and embed a culture of cash accountability across the UK and international operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Cash Flow & Liquidity Leadership:
- Own and enhance short-term and medium-term cash flow forecasting (including the 13-week cash flow process) and long-term liquidity planning across UK and international entities.
- Manage daily cash positioning, group funding requirements, and liquidity strategies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
