The Role
We’re looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Treasury Product, Systems and FTP Specialist to join our Treasury team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Treasurer, this role plays a key part in strengthening the Bank’s treasury operations by improving treasury products, systems, accounting processes and funds transfer pricing (FTP).
You’ll work across Treasury, Finance, IT and Head Office to ensure treasury products are accurately accounted for, well controlled and fully integrated across the Bank’s systems. The role combines technical treasury expertise with systems improvement, process automation and project delivery, helping to enhance reporting, controls and operational efficiency.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with treasury systems experience who enjoys improving processes, solving problems and delivering practical change within a regulated banking environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
