Treasury Settlements Administrator

About the Role

Prestigious International Bank, based in the City of London, is looking to recruit a Treasury Settlements Administrator.

The primary objective of this position is to facilitate the timely and accurate settlement, subsequent reporting, and investigation of the Bank’s Treasury business. Duties will include supporting the confirmation process, maintaining static data in back-office systems, resolving settlement issues through liaising with management, internal/external counterparties, as well as managing internal/external queries in a competent, efficient, and timely manner.


Responsibilities

MM/FX/NDF

  • Check deals tickets produced by FMBM process
  • Handle swap instructions for London-based trades
  • Send chaser confirmations for non-receipts
  • Chase non-receipts or late payments of funds
  • Store copies of forward deals in designated folders for future payments
  • Manage Reuters paper safe-keeping from the Dealing Room
  • Process entries for Bank charges and Dr/Cr interest charges

SECURITIES (BOND/CD/REPO)

  • Verify and process all details from Security trade tickets
  • Send security confirmations to counterparties
  • Email scanned copies of security details to Head Office
  • Monitor due coupons in generated reports
  • Send SWIFT notifying Head Office of due coupon amounts and positions
  • File completed Securities in the Security folder

IRS (Interest Rate Swaps)

  • Verify and process all details from IRS tickers
  • Regularly check and update the floating rate
  • Monitor due IRS transactions in generated reports
  • Issue SWIFT for net interest payments/receipts
  • Archive completed IRS docs in designated folder

REPORTING

  • Compile daily Transaction Reports, including:

    • Daily trade activity reporting
    • Daily Profit & Loss production
    • Reconciliation and attribution analysis
    • Comprehensive independent price verification
    • Trade break investigations and remediation
    • Market Value Adjustment (MVA) processes
  • Collateral Management:

    • Manage ISDA/CSA credit documentation
    • Collect and validate transaction data
    • Conduct margin valuation & reconciliation
    • Coordinate settlement exchanges
    • Confirm margin positions (resolving disputes where necessary)
    • Perform periodic collateral reconciliations and counterparty reporting

  • Conduct end-to-end trade reconciliations for data validation throughout the trade lifecycle.

  • Ensures regulatory reporting compliance covering:

    • Completeness / accuracy
    • Trade investigations & remediation
    • Governance reporting
    • Liaison with reporting service providers
  • Manage customer portfolio reconciliations, including dispute management for counterparty positions and portfolios.


Requirements

Candidates should possess the following experience and skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Treasury products
  • Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with proficiency in cross-departmental communication
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate where required
  • Proficiency in accurate reporting
  • Strong team player mentality
