Are you passionate about helping people to overcome barriers and take their next step towards employment? If so, you could be the perfect fit for this Triage Officer role in the Employment and Skills team.
About the Role
As a Triage Officer, you’ll play a crucial role as the first point of contact for enquiries. Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing initial assessments
- Managing referrals effectively
- Updating key systems and data
- Collaborating with partners and participants to direct them to the appropriate support
- Ensuring processes run smoothly
- Maintaining excellent communication and accurate records
This position is on a fixed-term basis, concluding on 31 March 2029.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and manage varied workloads under tight deadlines
- Communicate clearly and professionally with diverse stakeholders
- Provide empathy-driven customer service to help participants overcome challenges
- Demonstrate strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft 365 and database systems
- Adhere to data protection and confidentiality protocols
Requirements
We’re seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- The ability to handle demanding schedules while maintaining focus
- Excellant communication skills for clarifying enquiries and guiding participants
- A commitment to high-quality customer care with professionalism and compassion
- Advanced technical abilities, particularly with Microsoft 365 and databases
- Knowledge of data privacy requirements and a dedication to maintaining confidentiality
