Job Title: Foreign Material Inspector (12hr shifts rotating days and nights)
Overall Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to remove foreign bodies and poor-quality product from the processing line.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Remove foreign bodies from the processing line
- Remove poor quality produce from the processing line
- Maintain the cleanliness of working area
- Escalate any problems, for example an excess of foreign bodies on the processing line, to the Process Supervisor
- Complete a thorough handover at the end of each shift to counterpart on following shift
- Ensure own work is compliant with relevant health and safety, environmental and GMP practice
- BBS (Behavioural Based Safety) training – responsible for your own safety and for those around you
- Carry out sanitation duties as required, including shutdown
- Remain at your workstation until relieved at shift handover
- Carry out “on the job” guidance, training, support for colleagues as required
- Report and escalate any issues with a supervisor or manager in a timely manner
- Any other reasonable task as requested by your supervisor/manager
