Job Title: HGV Rigid with Moffett Truck Driver
Pay: £46,000.00-£54,000.00 per year
Job Description:
Are you an experienced Rigid Moffett Driver looking to join a reputable and highly regarded FORS Gold Specialist Transport Company? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you to be part of our dynamic team! We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join us as a Rigid Moffett Truck Driver and play a vital role in our success. Please note, this role involves nights out, so applicants must be prepared for this where required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate rigid vehicles fitted with Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Carry out safe loading and unloading using Moffett equipment, ensuring load security at all times.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations, company policies, and FORS Gold standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle and Moffett are in safe, roadworthy, and compliant condition.
- Plan delivery routes effectively to achieve timely customer service while considering traffic and weather conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Provide professional customer service and represent the company positively at all times.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly to management.

Requirements:
- Valid Class C (Rigid) driving licence.
- Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Valid Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) licence/qualification.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good attention to detail, with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to undertake nights out and occasional weekend work if required.
- Commitment to upholding company values with a strong focus on safety.
