Truck Wash operative
Owens Group is a fast-developing, multi-site organization, with a large diverse customer base, making this an exciting opportunity.
Owens are looking to recruit an enthusiastic & conscientious Truck Wash Operative to support our Llangennech operation working a Monday to Friday day shift pattern 08.00 to 17.00 (half an hour lunch break deducted).
Rate of Pay: £13.50ph
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- The ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
- HGV Class 1 Driving licence (ESSENTIAL)
- Excellent customer service skills
- A good eye for details
- A reasonable level of physical fitness
- A basic grasp of machine operation and cleaning equipment operation
- A clean driving licence

The role:
- Ensuring that vehicles are processed through our truck wash to set standards
- Understanding of the Trailer wash system and maintaining cleanliness of HGV Tractor units & Trailers
- Ensuring the appearance of vehicles are at optimum levels
- Ensuring that vehicles are processed through our truck wash to set standards
- Moving of vehicles within the premises (full training will be provided)
- Fully complying with Health & Safety legislation as well as Owens Group policies
- Other ad-hoc duties within the depot.
