Trust Doctor Fellow in Paediatric Ophthalmology

12 Month Fixed Term

Main Duties of the Job

The post-holder forms part of a team of 10 Consultants supported by an Associate Specialist (1), Clinical Fellows (6), and Specialist Trainees (4).

We are currently seeking a motivated ophthalmologist to take up the position of senior clinical Ophthalmology fellow for 12 months. This is an important post based at Whipps Cross University Hospital, and we are hoping to recruit an innovative and committed individual. It will provide comprehensive training opportunities in Paediatric Ophthalmology. There is a 1:8 first on-call commitment. See the job description for further details.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Ophthalmologist to take up the position of Paediatric Ophthalmology Fellow supporting the service. This position offers clinical experience and training opportunities in contemporary techniques related to Paediatric Ophthalmology. The fellowship also provides surgical access with Paediatric Ophthalmology lists, with the possibility of additional lists. The post holder will be expected to take part in research projects. Continuing education, professional development, and audit opportunities will be available.

There is a 1:8 first on-call commitment and busy eye casualty sessions.
