This ST4+ Equivalent Trust Doctor in Paediatrics post at Yeovil District Hospital, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is a registrar-level opportunity for doctors seeking to further develop their experience in acute paediatrics and neonatology within a supportive NHS environment.

Working Hours and Pattern

  • Full time, 40 hours per week
  • Working Monday to Sunday on a full shift rotation
  • Fixed Term for 12 months
  • Registrar-level (Tier 2) rota.
  • 1:8 on-call frequency.

This Position Would Suit a Doctor Who

  • Has previous NHS paediatric experience.
  • Is working at or near ST4+ equivalent level.
  • Wants to strengthen skills in acute paediatrics and neonatology.
  • Is interested in gaining additional experience before higher specialist training or pursuing the Portfolio Pathway.
