This ST4+ Equivalent Trust Doctor in Paediatrics post at Yeovil District Hospital, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is a registrar-level opportunity for doctors seeking to further develop their experience in acute paediatrics and neonatology within a supportive NHS environment.
Working Hours and Pattern
- Full time, 40 hours per week
- Working Monday to Sunday on a full shift rotation
- Fixed Term for 12 months
- Registrar-level (Tier 2) rota.
- 1:8 on-call frequency.

This Position Would Suit a Doctor Who
- Has previous NHS paediatric experience.
- Is working at or near ST4+ equivalent level.
- Wants to strengthen skills in acute paediatrics and neonatology.
- Is interested in gaining additional experience before higher specialist training or pursuing the Portfolio Pathway.

- Not recognised for specialty training by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH)
