Trust Grade Doctor (Neuromuscular complex care centre)
Trust grade SHO ST1-2 (Neuromuscular complex care centre)
Applicants are invited for the post of ST1-2 Trust Grade (SHO Level) working at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), Queen Square in our neuromuscular complex care centre.
Postholders will have the opportunity to attend the same teaching and training sessions as IMTs. However, this post is not recognised for training.
This position is to start in August 2026 for 6-months.
The post-holder will be expected to:
- Coordinate weekend admissions by clerking patients on a Friday
- Agree the admission plan with the nursing staff
- Review admission notes and sleep study data from patients admitted at weekends
- Action any changes in management following discussion with the respiratory consultant
- Telephone the GP and the patient to inform them of the management plan
- Complete the discharge summary and organize follow-up
