Recruitment for TG ST3-5 Positions in Emergency Medicine

About the Role

We are recruiting Part-Time, Fixed-Term (6 month) posts covering potential gaps in our Training Programme at **York Hospital NCT وتchts”. لا هو بالغهுவنกรب'oppositionl to build a career in the NHS, particularly for current trainees unclear about future speciality preferences.

We support our Trust Grade (TG) Doctors in securing official ST training positions, though this role itself is not an approved training position.

Role Summary

  • Location: York Hospital
  • Contract Type: Part-Time, Fixed Term (6 months), with potential extension
  • Requirements:
    • Full General Medical Council (GMC) Registration
    • Licence to Practice

Opportunities Available

Despite the post being non-training accredited, essential support is provided:

  • Named Clinical Supervisor
  • Local Induction Pack (including details of in-house training opportunities)
  • Individual Career Development Plans + Annual Appraisals via NHS e-Appraisal (breexclusive trusts for fixed-term posts ≥ 6 months)
  • Study Leave Funding: £500 per annum pro-rata
  • Support towards alternative competency certificates (e.g., ALS, ATLS, CCrISP, TiLS) to aid securement into dedicated training
  • Timetabled teaching sessions for service-based learning
