Location: School sites across East Sussex (travelling between Crowborough, Wadhurst, and Hailsham) Start Date: As soon as possible
About the Organisation
MARK Education Trust is a multi-academy trust based in East Sussex. Originally founded as Beacon Community College Academy Trust (2012), it rebranded in 2022 as MARK Education Trust, expanding to manage Beacon (Crowborough), Uplands (Wadhurst), and Hailsham Academies. The trust emphasises collaboration, expertise-sharing, and high-quality education across its schools.
The Role
A proactive and reliable Trust Site Operative is required to support the smooth operation of all MARK academies. Key responsibilities include:
- Travelling frequently between sites using trust vehicles, including driving a school minibus to transport pupils between Crowborough and Wadhurst.
- Ensuring safe, clean, and welcoming environments for students, staff, and visitors.
- Contributing to site cleanliness, maintenance, and overall operational efficiency.
- Working across rotating shifts: 6:30–14:30, 8:00–16:00, or 11:30–19:30.

Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (minimum category B).

Additional Information & Policies
- Childcare Disqualification Check: All applicants must confirm, via declaration, that they are not disqualified under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. If disqualified, a provisional candidate may apply to Ofsted for a waiver.
- Safeguarding: All staff must prompt the welfare of children and adhere to the trust’s safeguarding policies. Enhanced DBS checks are mandatory for all roles.
