We are seeking to appoint up to three Trustees to join our Board and help shape the future of Wales' National Zoo.

We Are Particularly Looking To Recruit

  • Two Trustees with extensive experience in finance, investment and business strategy, ideally including experience of government and/or commercial funding. Charity experience and strong professional networks would be advantageous.
  • One Trustee with extensive experience in biodiversity conservation, with an understanding of local and global conservation frameworks and the role of modern zoos in species conservation.

These appointments will strengthen the Board's expertise and support the organisation's continued development, financial sustainability and conservation impact.

Working alongside fellow Trustees and the executive team, you will:

  • Support the delivery of our conservation and education objectives.
  • Act as an ambassador for the organisation.

Board meetings are held quarterly, primarily in person at the Zoo in Colwyn Bay.
