Help shape the future of Wales' National Zoo.
The National Zoological Society of Wales – Welsh Mountain Zoo is seeking to appoint new Trustees to join its Board and help shape the future of Wales' National Zoo and one of the country's leading conservation and education charities.
This is an opportunity to contribute your professional expertise to Wales' National Zoo, a conservation and education charity that cares for over 60 species, welcomes more than 150,000 visitors annually and delivers conservation impact both in Wales and internationally.
We are currently seeking:
- Two Trustees with extensive experience in finance, investment and business strategy, ideally with experience of government and/or commercial funding.
- One Trustee with extensive experience in biodiversity conservation, with an understanding of local and global conservation frameworks and the role of modern zoos in species conservation.

As a Trustee, you will work alongside fellow Board members and the executive team to provide strategic oversight, support effective governance and guide the long-term development of the charity.
