About the Role

We are looking for two trustees who bring significant leadership experience in their fields of fundraising, particularly with extensive experience in major gifts and corporate fundraising to help strengthen the Board and support the Chief Executive and Fundraising Director around high-level advocacy, and finance, where you will bring board-level financial management experience, and ideally an understanding of the charity sector.

Responsibilities

  • You don’t need to have specific experience of working with research funders, but you will bring significant experience of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • You will be a strong communicator able to engage with a wide range of audiences at the highest levels.

Qualifications

  • Significant leadership experience in fundraising.
  • Extensive experience in major gifts and corporate fundraising.
  • Board-level financial management experience.
  • Understanding of the charity sector (ideally).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the charity sector.
