What difference will you make?
As a trustee with law expertise, providing expert legal oversight, you will ensure our co-creation and storytelling models remain ethically robust and legally sound. Your guidance on intellectual property and contracts will protect both the charity and the vulnerable storytellers we support, giving our board the confidence to scale our productions while upholding the highest standards of trauma-informed governance.
As a trustee with journalism expertise, you will act as a guardian of our editorial integrity. You will help us navigate the evolving media landscape, ensuring our stories aren't just powerful, but are told with the technical excellence and ethical rigour needed to influence national policy and shift public perceptions of lived experience."

As a trustee with fundraising expertise, our strategic approach to income generation will be the engine behind our growth. By diversifying our funding streams and building sustainable partnerships, you will directly enable us to reach more grassroots organisations, ensuring that a lack of resources never stands in the way of an underrepresented voice being heard.

What will you be doing?
We are seeking up to three new Trustees to strengthen our Board as we enter an exciting new phase of growth. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with experience in
Law – Charity governance, media law, intellectual property, contracts, or regulatory compliance Journalism – Editorial leadership, ethical storytelling, media standards, or audio production Fundraising – Trusts and foundations, major donors, corporate partnerships, or strategic income development
As a Trustee, you will provide strategic oversight, ensure strong governance, and support the long-term sustainability of Sounddelivery Media. You will act as a critical friend to the leadership team and help us expand our impact.
