Role Overview
As a trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the future direction of Norfolk Clubhouse.
We would particularly welcome applicants with experience of working in charities or organisations undergoing major transformation or restructuring.
What Difference Will You Make?
As a Trustee with change management skills, you will support our board to develop our services in securing a permanent base for our Norwich Hub. We wish to establish a permanent operational team at the Hub to provide a sustainable future for our Members.

We seek a Trustee able to work with us for several years who is committed to helping those with mental health difficulties to live full, rich and meaningful lives.
- Personal lived experience of mental health challenges are welcome to understand the stigma/barriers our Members face in accessing work opportunities.
- Integrity and reliability are important personal attributes we value.
- Previous experience of being a Charity Trustee, is desirable, preferably gained in a mental health setting in the community or other relevant context. However, understanding mental health and a desire to support system change is more important than previous charity experience.

What Will You Be Doing?
In 2026, we anticipate making several significant decisions regarding funding and the establishment of a permanent base for our services in Norwich.
Thanks to a highly successful year of fundraising, we have been able to fund a part-time Group Facilitator for our Norwich Hub for the next 12 months. This role will support the development and coordination of activities and services across both our Watton and Norwich hubs.
