- Oversee the financial health of Packed Lunch Productions, including:
- Reviewing management accounts, budgets, and cash flow
- Supporting the development of financial strategies aligned with the organisation’s mission and social enterprise status
- Day-to-day management of financial responsibilities:
- Monitor income and expenditure
- Advise on financial controls and risk management
- Ensure compliance with charity, company, and data protection regulations
- Board-level engagement:
- Attend board meetings
- Contribute to governance decisions
- Support fundraising and income-generation plans
- Provide clear financial reports and guidance to fellow trustees
- Collaborate closely with:
- Staff
- Partners
- Fellow board members
- To strengthen sustainable growth and enable arts-focused initiatives

Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong financial management skills, including:
- Budgeting
- Financial planning
- Oversight of accounts in a charity, social enterprise, or SME context
- Working knowledge of:
- Charity finance, governance, and regulatory compliance in the UK (e.g., Charity Commission, Companies House, data protection requirements)
- Ability to:
- Interpret financial information
- Present clear, accessible reports to a non-financial audience
- Experience in or understanding of:
- Fundraising, income generation, or social enterprise business models
- Interest in or experience with:
- The arts, creative industries, or community-focused organisations
- Collaborative working style with:
- Strong communication
- Integrity
- Sound judgment for board-level decision-making
- Professional qualification in finance/accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is beneficial but not essential
- Commitment to:
- Equality, diversity, and inclusive practices
- Values of a not-for-profit social enterprise
